Xavier Mbuyamba Joins FC Volendam

20-year-old Xavier Mbuyamba has officially signed a three-year deal with FC Volendam, making the transition from Chelsea Football Club. Mbuyamba's journey began two years ago when he left FC Barcelona’s prestigious La Masia academy to join the London side. However, his path has been fraught with challenges, including a series of unfortunate injuries that necessitated two surgeries.

Recently joining the WNRS circle, it became clear that Xavier’s potential should not be sidelined any longer. FC Volendam expressed significant interest in the talented centre-back, who made his senior debut for his hometown club, MVV Maastricht, at the Kras Stadion during the 2018/19 season.

Now, as he returns to the Dutch fields, Xavier is determined to prove his capabilities. We are excited to support him on this next chapter of his career and look forward to witnessing his growth and development as he showcases his exceptional footballing skills in the Eredivisie this season.
